Community Support Initiatives Ltd

Wyre Forest's first Social Firm.

Our aim is to level the playing field for employment for those with mental heath issues. One of the principles of a social firm is to provide employment opportunities for those with a disadvantage and CSI adheres to this principle in that all of it's current employees have experienced mental ill health.

We are currently developing and delivering a range of quality services at a reasonable cost, to support and enhance small and medium sized businesses, the public and the third sector organisations such as:

  • The Community and Voluntary Sector
  • Charities
  • Community Groups
  • Housing Associations
  • Youth Projects
  • Social Enterprises
One of our key objectives is to raise awareness and understanding of mental health issues, disability or other personal histories that may cause employers not to consider certain people for work opportunities. to achive this we have developed a tool kit especially for employers.

All of our staff are fully qualified PTTLS tutors, are members of IFL (Intitiute for Further Learning) and hold further relevant industry qualifications, for example NEBOSH.

We have a wide range of experience in:

  • Alcohol Awareness
  • Health and Safety at work
  • Community Engagement and Development
  • Public Health
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Leadership and Management
  • Social Enterprise
  • Quality Assurance
  • Volunteer Management
  • Events Organisation
  • Back Office Functions
  • Employment Law
  • Dealing with Mental Health
