About us

Recognising the significant role that voluntary and community groups make to the life of people in Worcestershire, Worcestershire Voices was established in 2012 to bring together groups within those sectors to provide guidance on policy conversations and to help aid implementation. Made up of a network of independent experienced voluntary sector leaders Worcestershire Voices works alongside charities, social enterprises, government and statutory partners.

Worcestershire Voices:

  • Supports an independent and influential, collective voice for Worcestershire's Voluntary and Community Sector
  • Encourages strong and effective links with the Voluntary and Community Sector, public and private sectors, and acts as a clear route for open and constructive conversation
  • Raises the profile of the role and capabilities of Voluntary and Community Sector organisations in Worcestershire
  • Identifies and responds to the key issues affecting the Voluntary and Community Sector
  • Promotes a coherent and professional Voluntary and Community Sector
