Worcestershire Voices - Civil Society after COVID-19

06/07/2020 15:00:00 - 06/07/2020 16:30:00
On Line

Following on from our recent survey Worcestershire Voices is holding an on-line event on Monday, 6 July 2020 between 15:00 – 16:30.We are still analysing the responses to the survey but already some themes are emerging.

Our discussion will focus on understanding the challenges COVID19 has presented to the voluntary and community sector in Worcestershire and will stimulate discussion about the future of the sector.

About this Event

The voluntary and community sector has played a remarkable role in responding to the pandemic. It has demonstrated that it is crucial to the well-being of communities across Worcestershire and has achieved things well beyond the reach of the statutory or commercial sector, by being nimble, tenacious and in touch with those communities.

So, what happens next?

Following our survey to understand how voluntary and community organisations have coped during the pandemic, the discussion will share the findings from your responses.

We will be joined by Mark Jackson, High Sheriff of Worcestershire, who will chair the session which will look at finance, health and well-being as well as the future of the sector.

Please pass this on to other voluntary and community sector colleagues in both large and small organisations.
